Top 10 books for personal development

The only way we can grow is by learning new things, and books in our opinion, are one of the best ways to do that (besides the gym of course). You don’t need anyone to help you, and you can usually find them for less than the cost of a Starbucks latte on Thriftbooks, Amazon or even free from your local library. Now because we both love reading and personal development it was SO hard to pick just 10 and of course we couldn’t agree on all of them so we decided to each pick our own top 10. So this really is top 20 but thats ok… read them all or pick and choose from each of our lists.

GENES TOP 10

  1. King Warrior Magician Lover | Robert Moore

  2. The Art of War | Sun Tzu

  3. Mind Warrior | Dr. Haha Lung

  4. The Way of the Superior Man | David Deida

  5. The 48 Laws of Power | Robert Greene

  6. Thick Face Black Heart | Chin Ning Chu

  7. The War of Art | Steven Pressfield

  8. The Book of Five Rings | Miyamoto Musashi

GABYS TOP 10

  2. 12 Rules for Life | Jordan Peterson

  3. The Power of Now | Eckhart Tolle

  5. The Untethered Soul | Michael A. Singer

  6. You Are a Badass | Jen Sincero

  7. You Are a Badass at Making Money | Jen Sincero

  8. Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway | Susan Jeffers

  9. The 4-Hour Work Week | Tim Ferriss

  10. The Mountain Is You | Brianna Wiest

Now anyone can buy a bunch of personal development books, and even read them cover to cover but the real learning comes from taking those lessons and applying them IN YOUR LIFE. It’s easy to read a book about facing your fears, but it’s a lot more difficult to actually face those fears and move through them, but that is the only way we truly grow. So for the best results read and enjoy the lessons in these books… and then take action!

Happy reading!
